L’Aia is private and elegant, perfectly suited for a small number of guests, with an enchanting patio and a charming terrace overlooking the sea, as well as a large centuries-old olive grove.
L’Aia was once the place where wheat was “threshed”.
We wanted to preserve this memory and this scent by building a marvelous wood-fired oven, where our chef Renato Morisco bakes bread and focaccia according to tradition.
We could not resist the call of the ancient cooking in the “pignata”.
Baking and lifting the lid gives ancient and extraordinary fragrances that are increasingly rare to find nowadays.
